Anaïs Lacasse

Dr. Anaïs Lacasse (PhD) is a Full Professor and chronic pain Epidemiologist in the Department of Health Sciences of University of Quebec in Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT), Quebec, Canada. She teaches epidemiology and biostatistics in undergraduate and graduate nursing and health sciences programs since 2009. Her research program aims at better understanding the treatment of chronic pain in the real-world context and in large populations. Specifically, 3 complementary research axes are explored: 1) The healthcare trajectories of people living with chronic pain; 2) The use of drugs for the treatment of chronic pain; and 3) The linkage and validation of large databases and measurement scales for research in this field. Professor Lacasse actually acts as Co-Director of the Quebec Pain Research Network (QPRN).
